Are you, or someone you know, in immediate danger? Call 999 or go to the nearest A&E.

Help from the NHS

  • Call NHS 111. If you are unsure, call 111. They are open 24 hours a day and can provide advice and guidance when you need help urgently but not in an emergency (A&E should always be used in an emergency)
  • Call Bradford NHS First Response on 0800 952 1181 in a mental health crisis. 
  • Talk to your GP. Ask at your GP for an Emergency Appointment. If you are waiting for an appointment please also consider who you can talk to from other.

Places to go

  • Safe Spaces - a crisis support service for anyone in mental health distress.  It provides a homely place to stay overnight for children and young people aged seven to 17.
  • Andy's Man Club - a men’s suicide prevention charity, offering free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups across the United Kingdom and online.
