About the Speaker 

David Jones is the Chief Executive Officer and Partner at Mercer Talent Enterprise, a global talent assessment, technology, and leadership development business, now part of Mercer, a business of Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC).

David co-founded The Talent Enterprise in Dubai in 2013, alongside Radhika Punshi and Gauri Gupta, driven by a vision to revolutionise human capital assessment through an integrated approach. Under his leadership, the company rapidly expanded its global network, working with over 250 clients across the Middle East, Asia Pacific, UK and Europe. The Talent Enterprise became renowned for its innovative solutions in career guidance, employability, life skills, talent assessment, succession planning, leadership development, and workplace well-being.

In March 2024, Mercer finalised its acquisition of The Talent Enterprise, marking a significant milestone in the company's journey. This acquisition allows Mercer to enhance its talent assessment tools and capability development solutions, enabling organisations to make critical people decisions. David, now leading Mercer Talent Enterprise’s assessment business, continues to drive the integration of organisational psychologists, human capital, data science, and technology experts to support workforce transformations.

David spearheaded the development of The Science of Behaviourmetry®, a pioneering concept that blends contemporary psychometric tools and assessment solutions with technology advances and data science. This approach provides deep insights into individual, team, and organisational behaviour, enabling critical people decisions.

With over 34 years of human capital experience, David has worked with clients in over 40 countries on a broad range of projects, including talent, leadership, assessment, performance, transformation, innovation, and inclusion. He holds an Undergraduate degree from the University of York, a Postgraduate degree from the University of West England, and an Executive MBA from the University of Bradford. He also participated in a leadership programme at the London Business School and is qualified with the British Psychological Society in Occupational Ability & Personality.

David is a senior adviser to policymakers and organisational leaders on pressing human capital priorities and regularly lectures at universities worldwide, including the University of Cambridge, the European School of Management and Technology, and the University of Bradford. His latest book, "The Future of Assessments," adds to his collection of works, including the bestselling "Unlocking the Paradox of Plenty" and the award-winning "Game Changers."
