A key element of this module is to increase critical awareness of the key global public health challenges in the 21st century. The module will support students to examine global patterns of disease, health and wellbeing, and to explore inequalities from a global perspective. Students will examine health systems, global health policy and governance and develop a critical appreciation of contemporary global health challenges, practice, and issues of equity and equality.
