Biography
Dr. Öznur Özdemir Akyıldırım
is an Assistant Professor of Logistics
and Supply Chain Management at School of Management, University of Bradford. She
has joined Bradford University from Istanbul Technical University in
Turkey, where she was working as an associate professor of production and
operations management.
Prior to this position, she worked as an assistant
professor at Rotterdam School of Management in Erasmus University in the
Netherlands and Akdeniz University in Turkey. Between 2019-2020, she also served
as a research associate at the Center for Corporate Responsibility and
Sustainability under the University of Zurich in Switzerland.
During her PhD, she spent
one year in the USA and studied as a visiting scholar at Georgia Institute of
Technology.
Her research interests revolve around sustainable operations
management and circular economy. She has published her work in highly respected
journals such as Production and Operations Management, European Journal of
Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, Decision
Sciences and Journal of the Operational Research Society.
