Foundation year progression routes

Our foundation year has many routes to our full-time undergraduate degrees.

This page shows the courses you could study at Bradford on successful completion of our one-year foundation degree. Foundation year courses

Foundation Year in Management, Law and Social Sciences
Animation BA (Hons) 64 UCAS points or equivalent plus an English Language qualification equivalent to GCSE Grade 4 and a Maths qualification equivalent to GCSE Grade 3.

Foundation Year in Engineering and Digital Technologies
Applied Biomedical Science BSc (Hons) 64 UCAS points or equivalent plus English Language, Maths and 2 Sciences qualifications equivalent to GCSE Grade 4.
In addition to the relevant core modules, you must study introduction to chemistry.
Pass each module and achieve a progression average of at least 60%.
Participate and be successful in the selection/interview process for the degree programme.
Successfully complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and a health check.
Foundation Year in Health and Life Sciences
Archaeology BSc (Hons) 64 UCAS points or equivalent plus an English Language qualification equivalent to GCSE Grade 4.
You will study the core modules plus any optional module.
Pass each module and achieve a progression average of at least 40%.
Foundation Year in Health and Life Sciences
Architectural Technology BSc (Hons) 64 UCAS points or equivalent plus an English Language qualification equivalent to GCSE Grade 3 and a Maths qualification equivalent to GCSE Grade 4.

Biomedical Science BSc (Hons) 64 UCAS points or equivalent plus an English Language, Maths and 2 Sciences qualifications equivalent to GCSE Grade 4.

Pass the compulsory course modules (Introduction to Biology, Introduction to Chemistry, and Anatomy and Physiology) with at least 50% and achieve a programme average of at least 40%.
