This module aims to: - Provide a critical awareness of key themes, trends, and debates in the field of global migration and migration policy; - Provide a range of theoretical perspectives on migration as a global issue, and its relationship with social policy, welfare, social integration, development, human rights, and international politics; - Develop students' ability to apply critical perspectives and research evidence in the analysis of global issues, challenges, and social policies; -Develop students' ability to critically engage with knowledge production processes and methodological debates in the field of migration research.
